The County and City Managers’ Association (CCMA) today welcomed the publication of the Framework Service Level Agreement (SLA) between local authorities and Enterprise Ireland for the new Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs). The report ‘Supporting Enterprise, Local Development and Economic Growth-Analysis of Local Authority Activities for 2012’ was published today by the County and City Managers’ Association (CCMA). The report which was welcomed by Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government, Mr. Phil Hogan T.D., highlights over 2,300 separate actions, projects and promotional activities undertaken by local authorities in 2012 to support job creation and economic development. The Protect Our Water website (www.ProtectOurWater.ie) has been operational since the 26th June 2012. The registration fee has increased to €50 (from €5) since the 28th September. To date, the LGMA have received approximately 340,000 registrations. All owners of premises connected to a domestic wastewater treatment system are required to register their systems by midnight on the 1st of February 2013.
