National Library Open Day - February 29th

Everyone is invited to visit their local library and take a closer look at all it has to offer on National Library Open Day, Saturday, February 29th.

Libraries all around the country will be taking part in National Library Open Day on February 29th, and are issuing a special invitation to members and non-members to come along and see all that’s on offer for them at their library completely free.

Libraries will be putting on a special showcase of their services and activities for all ages and all interests on the day. Visitors can try anything and everything from virtual reality to lace-making, mindfulness, genealogy or comic illustration.

Friendly library staff will also be on hand to show visitors around, demonstrate online services, and sign them up for a library card if they don’t already have one.

For more see www.librariesireland.ie or your local library website.
